They then went on hiatus and returned in the early part of 2005 with two new members, Cocoy Hermoso of Beverage (guitars) and Ron Capio of Curious Blossoms (bass). Arni, who reunited with his old band The Ire, helped Missing Filemon produce Sinesine, their second album.

Sine-sine wala ta'y laing lingaw
Kandila luyo sa habol
Katawang binayran ug pisong kinawat
Sa gubaong pitakang lola
Anino sa mga artistang papel
Gihinganlan tag si Pedro'g Sabel
Silang bida ning atong istorya
Sa gugma nga wa'y katumanan

Sine sine sine sa bata pa
Di na unta matapos pa
Bisan paman sa pagdagan sa panahon
Lantawon ang mga eksena nga mulakbay
Tanang tawo maka-sakay
Saksihan ta ang pagdagan sa panahon
Panahon

Sige-sige hala'ng imong paglakaw
Ay kahago't may-kahayag
Mudan-ag sa dalang mangit-ngit
Lakip na ang langit daw lapad nga adlaw
Ang kinabuhi sugilanong hiwi
Kalipay kasakit ug kalami
Silang bida niining salida sa gugma nga way katuman

Sine sine sine sa bata pa
Di na unta matapos pa
Bisan paman sa pagdagan sa panahon
Lantawon ang mga eksena nga mulakbay
Tanang tawo maka-sakay
Saksihan ta ang pagdagan sa panahon
Panahon

Di na unta matapos pa
Bisan paman sa pagdagan sa panahon

Overall Meaning

The song "Sine-sine" by Missing Filemon talks about the nostalgia of going to the movies as a child and how those memories are still cherished even as time passes. The title refers to the Filipino slang term for cinema or movie theater. The first stanza sets the scene, describing the humble cinema with a candle for light that is situated near the laundry lines. The second line mentions how one time, a relative paid a peso, equivalent to less than a cent, to watch a movie at a run-down theater. The following lines mention how the shadows of the characters projected onto the screen mirrored the figures of the paper dolls that were popular at that time. The chorus reminisces about how witnessing the scenes of a film was enthralling, and how the passage of time makes those memories even more precious.

The second verse describes a more current setting, where technology has advanced such that everyone can watch movies anytime anywhere. However, the nostalgia of watching films at a cinema remains, and it is an experience that cannot be replicated. The chorus repeats, emphasizing how the passage of time makes those childhood memories even more valuable.

Overall, the song is a poignant commentary on how modern technology has made movies more accessible, but the magic of watching films in a cinema remains. The lyrics touch on the idea that the feeling of being transported into another world for a few hours through a film is a unique and precious experience that cannot be replicated.
